Ausweichsitz NRW

The „Ausweichsitz NRW“ is a former atomic bunker of the federal state government of North Rhine-Westfalia (NRW), Germany.

It was build during the 1960s to be the seat of the government in case of emergency during the cold war.

In case of war the Minister-President of NRW and 200 experts should be secure and carry on the government affairs.

It was given up in 1993 and until then it was TOP SECRET.
